Online safety

Our children spend so much time online now - the best thing we can do is to support them in learning how to be safe online, just as we would wherever they go.

At school, we often talk to the children about how to stay safe online and, when they access the internet in class, the online environment is protected by a very secure filter.

Out of school, on a mobile or a tablet or a laptop, they might find their enjoyment spoiled by pages they didn't want to see. They might find people being unkind - strangers or people they don't know. There are all sorts of possible dangers on the internet for someone - old or young - who doesn't know how to keep themselves safe.

We've collected some advice and guides below that might help you as parents and families to increase your knowledge and skills in keeping your child safe online.

If you need any help or advice, or if you have any concerns, please do get in touch.
