Dear parents, carers, families and friends,
I hope this newsletter finds you well and that this half term has started the year brilliantly for everyone. This newsletter is to share with you some news, updates and reminders from King Richard III Infant and Nursery School.
Firstly, I would like to celebrate the achievements of our super children this half term. The Celebration Assembly last week was full of their hard work and dedication. It was lovely to see children being praised for their achievements across the curriculum, and we are so proud of each and every one of them - I know you are too.
As we approach the end of this half term, I would like to remind you that the last day of school before the break is Friday, 16th February. It has been a busy and successful half term, and I hope our children will enjoy a well-earned rest. The new half term will start on Monday, 26th February, and we look forward to welcoming back our children, ready to make even more progress. The term dates have now been agreed for the 2024-25 school year – remember that you can always find term dates on the school website. They should also be on ReachMoreParents by the end of this week.
During the first week of the new half term, we will be holding parents’ evening meetings. This is an opportunity for you to meet with your child's teacher and discuss their progress, strengths, and areas for development. If you have not yet received an appointment, please speak to your child's teacher to arrange a suitable time. We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are crucial in helping our children to succeed, and these meetings are a valuable way to strengthen this teamwork.
In conclusion, I would like to thank all of our parents and carers for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community. Together, we can continue to provide this nurturing, stimulating environment where our children can thrive.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or any member of our dedicated staff team.
Many thanks,
Ms Harrison
