Newsletter for July 6th 2023
Dear parents, carers, families and friends,
You probably don't need me to remind you that the end of the school year is nearly here! But just in case... the last day of term is next Thursday 13th July. School will be closed the next day and will open again for the children to come back on Thursday 31st August
Between now and the end of next Thursday, we've got lots of busy days.
Yesterday, many of our Year 2 children went on a visit to Shaftesbury Junior School to meet the teacher they'll have from the autumn term. It was good to hear all about how much they'd enjoyed their day when they came back this morning - and children moving to other schools have also had very positive experiences. The children who will still be with us at KRIII next year also got to meet their new teachers yesterday, and everyone had a lovely time.
Meanwhile, I'm sure lots of you are making plans for the summer break, and there's lots of information about summertime opportunities here: https://news.leicester.gov.uk/news-articles/2023/july/families-encouraged-to-get-up-and-go-this-summer/
A reminder that during the summer break, if you need to get in touch with us urgently, you can email us here: feedback@kingrichards.leicester.sch.uk (just click on the link to get in touch).
We're still here for another 5 school days, though, don't forget! We look forward to seeing everyone every day, right up until the end of term
As always, if you have questions, concerns or comments, just get in touch. We're always glad of the chance to work with and support our families.
Ms Harrison and the KRIII team
