Newsletter for 31st January 2025

Date: 31st January 2025

Dear Parents, Carers, Families and Friends,

As we reach the end of the school week, I hope you have a warm and happy weekend ahead.

Important Playground Update – Work Starting on Monday

I want to remind you that work will begin on Monday in the Key Stage 1 playground. This work is to reduce flooding in the playground and the area near the Year 1 classrooms. The Department for Education (DfE) is paying for these improvements, and we are happy that this will make the playground much better.

What you need to know for Monday:

  • If you drop off your child through the Key Stage 1 playground, your usual route will not change.
  • You may see temporary fences and workers in the area.
  • We expect little disruption, but please be patient.

How you can help:

  • Arrive a little earlier than usual.
  • Be careful and calm when entering and leaving the school.
  • Work with us to make sure the school day starts and ends smoothly.

How long will the work last?

The work will continue until the half-term break. It should be finished when children return for the new half-term.

Parents Evenings

Our Spring Term Parents’ Evenings will take place the week after next on:

📅 Tuesday 11th February
📅 Thursday 13th February

What You Need to Do:

✅ Book a meeting with your child’s teacher if you have not done so.
✅ Write down your appointment date and time in your diary or phone.
✅ Check your time so you don’t miss your meeting.

We will remind you again, but please make sure you remember your appointment.

Have a super weekend!

Best wishes and many thanks for your support –

Ms Harrison (KRIII Headteacher)
