Dear Parents and Carers, families and friends,
We hope you and your family are well. Here's the latest news from our school!
📅 Half Term Reminder – School Closed Next Week
School will be closed next week for the half term holiday.
- The last day of school is Friday 23rd May
- School will be closed from Monday 26th to Friday 30th May
- We will reopen on Monday 2nd June
We hope you’ll enjoy a safe and relaxing break with your children when it comes!
Weduc and any change of contact details
If you haven’t been able to sign up to Weduc (ReachMoreParents) so far, please do come to the office and ask them to help you. Your child’s class teacher will often send information that you need via Weduc/ReachMoreParents and if you have the app you’ll know about it straight away on there.
Even more important, if you’ve changed your contact details, it’s really important that you let us know. Telephone contacts, addresses and names of people you’re authorising to collect your child if you’re not able to get to school. These are all really important – let us know at the office, by phone, by email, by Weduc/ReachMoreParents or using the form at the bottom of this school web page (scroll right down to the end of this page) or here: https://www.kingrichards.leicester.sch.uk/contact-details/

The subject leaders in school have been working really hard on a curriculum review across the school. 🌈 A Reminder for Warm Weather
As the weather gets warmer, please remember:
- Send your child to school with a hat and water bottle
- Apply sun cream at home before school if needed
- Please label all clothes with your child’s name

A big thank you to all our families for your continued support this term. The children have worked hard and made great progress in their learning. We are proud of them, as always!
